Adult CPR/AED
The purpose of this class is to train lay responders to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults. Students will learn the skills and knowledge needed to give cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Students will learn the skills and knowledge needed to provide care for victims of sudden cardiac arrest through the safe use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Certification is for one year.

Adult CPR/AED; Infant and Child CPR; First Aid Recertification Classes
These are the basic classes given to those whose certifications have not expired or have expired in the last 30 days. The classes are shorter than regular classes, as the student does not have to go through all the "scenarios".  Students still have to demonstrate and take the test to show that they can do CPR, understand First Aid and know how to use an AED.
